Our Team

Andy Hansen came to Western Kansas in 1987 with his family relocating from Northern Iowa where he was born and raised. Finishing his high school and college education in Western Kansas, there were very few days of his early life that did not involve hunting or fishing of some kind. From the glory days of the coyote chase, to the spot and stalks of the mighty mule deer, Andy enjoyed nothing more than spending time hunting with the rough necks of Western Kansans. Andy and his wife relocated in Marion, Kansas in 1995 after finishing college at Fort Hays State University. Andy has been guiding whitetail archery hunts since 2003. Starting out of his own home, Andy strives to maintain a very personal experience for their guests. Andy has also worked directly and indirectly in the outdoor industry for the last 18 years with his own company Express Print and Signs. Andy owned and operated his own marketing and printing company since 2009 and has been in the printing industry since 1998. He’s worked with many well-known brands throughout the industry and has a passion for the hunting gear and its continuing development.

The American Dream

“The American Dream is a term that is often used but also often misunderstood. It isn’t really about becoming rich or famous. It is about things much simpler and more fundamental than that.”

-Marco Rubio

————————————————————————

For me, the American Dream is the pursuit of happiness. It is setting out on a journey that most people avoid because they have a fear of falling flat on their faces. I have fallen smack dab on my face many times already in my short 23 years of life. And I will continue to do so if that’s what it takes to chase after goals.

I’m the type of person that becomes stagnant in life if I’m not chasing after something. I’m a doer that’s just who I am. Whether it’s wrestling, school, a career, a personal goal…I do it. I may not always succeed but I always try.

My biggest passion in life is the outdoors. I love hunting, fishing, farming, preserving habitat, and being a part of conservation. The opportunity has presented itself for me to make a living off of this passion. I can assure you I won’t get rich off of it, but I will wake up every morning to a job that I love to do. That is the American Dream.

We are going to get skunked, we are going to get flat tires, we are going to have guns jam on us in the freezing cold and we are going to have days we can’t even hunt because of conditions. But these moments will not slow us down. What I can assure you, is that I will bust my ass every day to get you on birds.

If there is something in your life you want to do…get off your ass…go do it!
